Welcome to the Caledonian Society of Sweden

Latest News: With great sadness Burns Night 2021 for the first time since the founding of the Society cancelled due to the Covid Pandemic. Recent news : The Caledonian Society hosted its annual AGM in May via Zoom and a new committee was elected for the coming year.

The Caledonian Society is currently looking for new members eager to either participate in events or become part of the society committee here in Sweden. As everyone is already aware the covid restrictions have cancelled many (ALL) of our social events last year and we are hoping that 2021 will produce a more productive year for everyone - we are yet to see but will keep everyone posted.

The Caledonian Society of Sweden was founded in November 1975 Society by Gordon Elliott, Alan Logan, Dugald Murdoch, William M Pardon, and Brita Pardon in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Society's main vocation is the promotion of various facets of Scottish culture, past and present and we welcome anyone, whether Scots-born or not, who is attracted by all things Scottish.
